Professional work

Fixell is best known as one half of double dating comic duo Dave and Ethan, along with his childhood friend Dave Ahdoot.[1] He is also the creator and editor of ActualConversation.com.

Formerly the vocalist and guitarist for The Anthem Sound, Fixell records with co-vocalist Evan Grove as Camilla.

As of November 15, 2011, Ethan writes the "Ask A Guy" dating advice column for gURL.com.

Controversy

After a performance at Ball State University on March 1, 2010, Fixell criticized students who play the school's popular Humans vs. Zombies game during an interview with the BSU Daily News by saying, "Humans Versus Zombies is a woman repellent. It’s like anti-cologne.[2]" Some students felt that these remarks were inaccurate, as many of the players of the Ball State Humans vs. Zombies game are women.[3]

A few weeks later, Fixell defended his stance in an interview with HumansVsZombies.org.[4]
